A magical two-day getaway to Kalabaka and the majestic Meteora, where breathtaking nature and centuries of history come together to create a truly unique setting. ✨
The experience is completed with a fairytale visit to The Mill of the Elves, filled with festive atmosphere, vibrant colours, and Christmas magic for visitors of all ages.
Day 1: Chalkida – Meteora – Kalabaka
Early morning departure from our office in Chalkida for a magical Christmas getaway. After an intermediate stop near Agios Konstantinos for coffee and a short break, we continue our journey to Meteora, where we will visit either Varlaam Monastery or Saint Stephen’s Monastery, with free time for a visit and pilgrimage.
We then continue to Kalabaka, where we will have free time for lunch before checking in at our hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free at leisure, followed by an overnight stay.
Day 2: Kalabaka – The Mill of the Elves (Trikala)
After breakfast, we depart for the place where the magic of Christmas comes to life – Trikala and The Mill of the Elves, which is transformed every year into a truly enchanting Christmas wonderland.
What can you find there?
- Santa Claus’ House and the magical elves’ workshops
- Christmas Market featuring sweets, hot beverages, and souvenirs
- Ice rink and an impressive amusement park with carousels and a Ferris wheel
- Live entertainment, theatrical performances, and activities for children
And, of course, plenty of delicious treats waiting to be discovered throughout the park!
Free time to explore, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and have fun at The Mill of the Elves, followed by free time for lunch in the city of Trikala, just a 10-minute walk away.
Finally, we begin our return journey to Chalkida, bringing with us beautiful memories and unforgettable Christmas experiences. Arrival in Chalkida in the evening.

A 50% deposit of the total value of the selected package is required to secure your reservation.
The remaining balance must be paid 5 days prior to departure.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
In the event of cancellation, the deposit or full payment will be refunded in full provided that the cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to departure.
For cancellations made within 14 days of departure, the amount paid is non-refundable and cannot be transferred or credited towards another travel package.
