Karpenisi – Megalo Chorio – Proussos Monastery – Saloon Park

Day 1: Chalkida – Karpenisi

Departure at 7:00 AM from Chalkida for our two-day trip to Karpenisi. After a stop near Lamia for coffee and a short break, we continue our journey to Megalo Chorio in the Karpenisi area.

There, we will have free time for lunch and, for those who wish, the opportunity to shop for local products in the village square.

We then continue to Karpenisi and our 5-star hotel, Montana Hotel & Spa, for check-in and some time to relax.

The rest of the afternoon is free to explore the town and enjoy an evening stroll through the beautifully illuminated streets, followed by dinner at one of the many traditional tavernas in the area.

Day 2: Karpenisi – Panagia Prousiotissa Monastery – Chalkida

After breakfast, we depart for the Monastery of Panagia Prousiotissa, following a breathtaking route alongside the Karpenisiotis River, with spectacular views of the valleys southwest of Mount Kaliakouda and Mount Chelidona.

Upon arrival at the monastery, we will have the opportunity to explore its grounds and discover the fascinating history and traditions surrounding this historic site. Free time for a visit and pilgrimage.

We continue our journey with a different kind of experience at Saloon Park, where we will have free time to enjoy a coffee, as well as optional activities such as horse riding, archery, and aerial adventure activities for the more adventurous.

Our next stop is Kefalovryso, where we will have time for lunch.

Finally, after a wonderful two-day getaway filled with beautiful experiences, we begin our return journey to Chalkida, with an intermediate stop along the way.
