Description

Bansko is the perfect escape for those who love the mountains and the freedom of the road. The route passes through beautiful landscapes, with green valleys and imposing mountains, until you reach the picturesque town at the foot of Pirin. There, you can expect traditional hospitality, good food, and moments of relaxation or adventure, depending on your mood. A journey that combines nature, experiences, and beautiful memories.

Description

Gathering at 11:30 PM the previous night and departure for Promachonas with a stop in Lamia and Korinos! Passing through the former borders of Promachonas without identity checks and a short stop at the duty-free. Then we pass through the Kresna Gorge and in Simitli to leave the national highway and travel the last 42 km through the forest of the Eloviko River valley. Ascending to an altitude of 950 m, we will encounter the beautiful Razlog plateau early in the morning and then enter the village of Bansko, which strongly resembles an Alpine landscape. Arrival at approximately 10:30. We go to our hotels to leave our luggage (check-in is a bit later than at the hotels) and head to the famous "GINGER" café to "wake up" with our coffee-breakfast and take a first walk on the streets of Bansko. Then, we head to our hotels to check in. Rest, free time for a first acquaintance with the village or relaxation in the hotels' spas. Tonight, we'll head out to a Bansko club.
Early morning breakfast at the hotel, and today is the day you'll enjoy the largest and most modern ski resort in the Balkans at an altitude of 2600 meters. Departure is from the gondola, the lift's starting point, and the route is something that will truly thrill you. You'll travel about 25 minutes in a closed-type glass cable car (capacity six people), passing right over the tree tops on the mountain slope, admiring the wild nature of the forest, and ending up at the chalet where the central slope is located! There you can enjoy a hot drink, a meal, or start winter sports! There are trails for all levels, for beginners and professionals, with the longest one ending in the village center at 7 km. On the small slope in front of the chalet, beginners can try their first steps in skiing, perhaps testing their balance on a snowboard. For those who are not fond of snow, we will visit the town of Razlog with its large valley stretching around it, in front of the imposing Pirin mountain! We will walk across the river that divides it in two and find ourselves in the huge, for such a small town, square with its old classical style buildings. Many of these are in the same condition as they were during the Soviet era, while others have been renovated and house cafes, services, and shops! But don't stay there! Go down the stairs of the square opposite to meet a beautiful lake with ducks, little bridges, and small kiosks! There you will be surprised by the artworks they have made on trees and bushes! Beautiful performances that present romantic images of everyday life from another era! You will see that there is even on the central island of the lake! (Optional excursion, cost 10€). Having been transported a little into the past, having also had our coffee in the square, it is time to return because the WATER PARTY that will lift our spirits in another reality is about to begin... In the afternoon, no one wants to miss our visit to the ultra-modern ALPHA SPA. Outdoor pools with different temperatures and bars in them, modern safe changing rooms, equipped and super-economical bar are the ingredients that will lift our spirits... Registration the day before and strict priority order. (Participation cost 20€). Return in the evening around 20:30. A little rest and preparations for our evening out.
Breakfast buffet, followed by an optional full-day excursion to Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria with 2 million inhabitants. Depart early in the morning at 09:00 (participants meet at the reception). Upon arrival, we will take a panoramic tour (city tour) and then explore the city's attractions. Among other things, we will see the Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the Byzantine Church of St. Irene, the Church of St. Nicholas, the Parliament, the Opera, the Archaeological Museum, the outdoor market with old objects and antiques, the Russian Church, the old palaces, the current art gallery, the monument of Russian soldiers, the old university, the Bridge of Eagles, and more, walking through the entire historic center of Sofia and seeing all the historical monuments up close. Free time for your necessary shopping in the center's shops. Departure at 17:00 in the afternoon for Bansko. (Optional excursion, cost 25€). A little rest in our hotels and we prepare for the last night in Bansko with the farewell party that will be unforgettable!
Wake up, breakfast, and at 09:00 we check out (after the room inspection, charges, etc. are completed) and depart for the return journey. After the necessary stops (in Promachonas, Korinos, and Lamia), we will arrive in Athens early in the evening.

SOS: Registration for the one-day trip to Sofia, the excursion to Razlog, and the ESCAPE PARTY must be made on the bus before arriving in Bansko to the bus captains. *And to not forget the Greek aroma and the flavors of Greece, we recommend Forest cup for your coffee, brunch, and many other snacks, as well as La petite Creperie, for sweet and savory sins from a Greek professional!

Payment of the required advance payment (50%) or the entire amount, in cash, via credit/debit or prepaid card or by bank transfer to the tourist office.

Unreserved acceptance and compliance with these General Terms and Conditions. For valid registration, the specific trip must be indicated on the receipt of payment of the advance or prepayment, with the dates of departure and return and any other distinctive elements.

The right to participate in the trip is secured by paying the full value and related charges 7 full days before departure.

Failure to pay the full value of the trip within the stipulated time gives our Tourist Office the right to cancel the reservation and possibly demand cancellation fees, in accordance with the cancellation terms provided herein.

Cancellations

In order to implement an organized trip, it is necessary to ensure the minimum number of travelers, on which the costing of the relevant package is based. This number differs for each trip.

Cancellations of participation by the traveler are made in writing to our office or by telephone or after a visit to our office and, regardless of the date of the reservation. In particular:

In case of cancellation of the excursion 11 days (multi-day) or 6 days (single-day) before departure, a 100% refund will be given.

In case of cancellation of the excursion from 9 to 6 days before departure, the reservation will be transferred to another person under the conditions mentioned in Article 6 of the General Terms of Participation)

In the event that a replacement cannot be found, the money can be credited to a later trip within 2 months.

In case of cancellation of the excursion from 6 days (multi-day) or 2 days (single-day) up to the day of departure, the entire amount will be withheld.

In the event of cancellation of the trip by our Tourist Office and if the time of booking allows, the following deadlines for informing the Traveler and 100% refund are followed:

a) 10 days before the departure date, when the trip lasts more than six (6) days.

b) 7 days before the departure date, when the trip lasts between four (4) and five (5) days.

c) 5 days before the departure date, when the trip lasts between two (2) and three (3) days.

d) 48 hours when the trip lasts one (1) day (Day trip).
