Description

We depart from Chalkida at 4 a.m. The journey lasts approximately 8 hours, including 2-3 intermediate stops for rest and coffee breaks. After crossing the border at Promachonas, we arrive at our final destination, the famous Bansko!

We’ll check into our hotel, which will host us with luxury amenities throughout the trip. The town is an excellent winter getaway where you can enjoy your favorite sport, as it boasts one of the best and most organized ski resorts in Europe.

What makes Bansko a must-visit winter destination is the perfect combination of relaxation, skiing, and luxury services.

Overnight stay.
After breakfast, we will get to know the town of Bansko. The town combines natural beauty, traditional architecture, and modern comforts. We will visit the Bansko Ski Resort.

The ski resort in Bansko is the most famous in Bulgaria and has become popular with both locals and tourists. There are slopes for all levels (from beginners to advanced), with modern lifts and stunning views of the surrounding mountain areas.

Next, we will explore the old town of Bansko, which retains its traditional atmosphere, with charming narrow streets, old houses, and churches. Especially around Dojtsko Square and the Church of St. Stephen, visitors can see classic Bulgarian architecture and experience the charm of the local culture.

Free time in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.
After we finish our breakfast, we will depart for a trip to Plovdiv. The old town of Plovdiv is full of history and traditional architecture, with cobblestone streets and charming 19th-century houses. Walking through the narrow alleys, you will find many traditional taverns and small shops selling local products. Our first stop will be the Ancient Theatre of Plovdiv: it is the largest ancient theater in Bulgaria, built by the Romans in the 2nd century AD, and you can watch performances there, especially in the summer.

Next, we will visit the Church of St. Kyriaki and the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Both are impressive religious sites in the city, radiating a sense of ancient wisdom. The city is full of history dating back to the Roman, Ottoman, and Byzantine periods, so we will also make sure to admire the Plovdiv Archaeological Museum, where you will find exhibits from various eras, while the Archaeological Site includes the ruins of Roman and Byzantine buildings.

Lunch and return to Bansko for overnight stay.

Alternatively, enjoy a full day at the ski resort with snow play and hot drinks and experience unforgettable moments of relaxation!
After we finish our breakfast and check out, we will depart from Bansko and make a stop at Sandanski. Sandanski is famous for its natural thermal springs, which have healing properties. Here, we will enjoy a relaxing spa bath and benefit from the therapeutic effects of the warm waters. Afterwards, we will have lunch at a local tavern and then begin our journey back, carrying memories of snowy landscapes.

Please read carefully the following General Terms of Participation, which constitute an integral part of the organized travel contract, as well as information and any other recommendations given to you, before registering for any of our organized trips.

Payment of the required advance payment (50%) or the entire amount, in cash, via credit/debit or prepaid card or by bank transfer to the tourist office.

Unreserved acceptance and compliance with these General Terms and Conditions. For valid registration, the specific trip must be indicated on the receipt of payment of the advance or prepayment, with the dates of departure and return and any other distinctive elements.

The right to participate in the trip is secured by paying the full value and related charges 7 full days before departure.

Failure to pay the full value of the trip within the stipulated time gives our Tourist Office the right to cancel the reservation and possibly demand cancellation fees, in accordance with the cancellation terms provided herein.

Cancellations

In order to implement an organized trip, it is necessary to ensure the minimum number of travelers, on which the costing of the relevant package is based. This number differs for each trip.

Cancellations of participation by the traveler are made in writing to our office or by telephone or after a visit to our office and, regardless of the date of the reservation. In particular:

In case of cancellation of the excursion 11 days (multi-day) or 6 days (single-day) before departure, a 100% refund will be given.

In case of cancellation of the excursion from 9 to 6 days before departure, the reservation will be transferred to another person under the conditions mentioned in Article 6 of the General Terms of Participation)

In the event that a replacement cannot be found, the money can be credited to a later trip within 2 months.

In case of cancellation of the excursion from 6 days (multi-day) or 2 days (single-day) up to the day of departure, the entire amount will be withheld.

In the event of cancellation of the trip by our Tourist Office and if the time of booking allows, the following deadlines for informing the Traveler and 100% refund are followed:

a) 10 days before the departure date, when the trip lasts more than six (6) days.

b) 7 days before the departure date, when the trip lasts between four (4) and five (5) days.

c) 5 days before the departure date, when the trip lasts between two (2) and three (3) days.

d) 48 hours when the trip lasts one (1) day (Day trip).

Notes

* The program may be modified for its best implementation depending on conditions (weather conditions, delays, etc.).

* Prices in the event of increases in fuel, ferry tickets, accommodation costs, etc. will be adjusted accordingly with timely information.

* We kindly ask you to arrive at the boarding points on time.

* Boarding and assembly times must be adhered to for the proper operation of the program

* Food consumption is not allowed on the bus.

*In case of failure to arrive at the boarding points on time, the bus will depart without the office being held responsible, and the money will not be refunded.

Seat reservations on the bus are on a priority basis.

All travelers are informed by SMS or phone with detailed departure information 1 day before the trip.
