Excursion Itinerary

We depart at 05:30 in the morning from our city, heading to the port of Piraeus to board the ship heading to Santorini. Far from the crowded tourist waves of summer, the island reveals its authentic identity through unique customs and traditions. Check-in at the hotel and free time. Late in the afternoon, we gather in the hotel's lounge and head to the center of the Easter celebrations, Kallisti Tower, a medieval village built at the highest point of the island, to watch the service and the procession of the Epitaph. So in the evening, as the funeral procession begins, thousands of tin lamps, the famous "Denefakia," filled with paraffin and shavings light up the path, creating an atmosphere of reverence and awe. These little lanterns are placed along the alleys and on the walls of the Venetian castle, creating a captivating image. Return to the hotel and spend the night.
After breakfast, we board the bus with high spirits and head for Oia. With whitewashed houses descending the slope of Santorini's caldera, blue-tiled roofs like the Aegean Sea, stone alleys, and traditional houses lining the narrow streets, a multitude of sights await your discovery. Free time to explore and enjoy your lunch. Return to the hotel and rest. We renew our appointment in the evening for the celebration of the Resurrection at the monastery of Prophet Elias, at the highest point of the island. Although fireworks have no place here, the view is unique. From this privileged spot, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the fireworks launched from all the villages of the island, illuminating the night sky. Enjoy the Easter dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we head to the southern part of the island to one of the most important prehistoric settlements with a perfectly preserved archaeological site, Akrotiri. Free time to explore. Also, about 2 km north of the archaeological site is the town of Akrotiri. From here, the view of the caldera is fantastic, but what you will enjoy is the alleys. The Cycladic beauty around you in more earthy authenticity. Walk through La Ponda (a Venetian castle) and stop at Agia Theodora, just before the fortress. Free time to enjoy our dinner. Return to the hotel and rest. In the evening, we meet again with the destination of Fira and the famous sunset...Return to the hotel and overnight.
After enjoying our last breakfast and collecting our luggage in the bus, we depart for Fira. Wander the tiny streets, climb the many stairs, and admire the houses that are literally carved into the rock. Stop by the Catholic church "Three Bells of Fira" with its distinctive blue dome, white façade, and Greek bell tower with three bells. The church of Saint John the Baptist with its informal yellow facade. Walk along the busy shopping street with hundreds of stores and restaurants. Free time for a stroll and shopping until we board the bus heading to the port and board the ship, leaving behind the beautiful images we experienced in a different Easter.....

General terms and conditions of participation in an organized trip

Please read carefully the following General Terms of Participation, which constitute an integral part of the organized travel contract, as well as information and any other recommendations given to you, before registering for any of our organized trips.

Payment of the required advance payment (50%) or the entire amount, in cash, via credit/debit or prepaid card or by bank transfer to the tourist office.

Unreserved acceptance and compliance with these General Terms and Conditions. For valid registration, the specific trip must be indicated on the receipt of payment of the advance or prepayment, with the dates of departure and return and any other distinctive elements.

The right to participate in the trip is secured by paying the full value and related charges 7 full days before departure.

Failure to pay the full value of the trip within the stipulated time gives our Tourist Office the right to cancel the reservation and possibly demand cancellation fees, in accordance with the cancellation terms provided herein.

Cancellations

In order to implement an organized trip, it is necessary to ensure the minimum number of travelers, on which the costing of the relevant package is based. This number differs for each trip.

Cancellations of participation by the traveler are made in writing to our office or by telephone or after a visit to our office and, regardless of the date of the reservation. In particular:

In case of cancellation of the excursion 11 days (multi-day) or 6 days (single-day) before departure, a 100% refund will be given.

In case of cancellation of the excursion from 9 to 6 days before departure, the reservation will be transferred to another person under the conditions mentioned in Article 6 of the General Terms of Participation)

In the event that a replacement cannot be found, the money can be credited to a later trip within 2 months.

In case of cancellation of the excursion from 6 days (multi-day) or 2 days (single-day) up to the day of departure, the entire amount will be withheld.

In the event of cancellation of the trip by our Tourist Office and if the time of booking allows, the following deadlines for informing the Traveler and 100% refund are followed:

a) 10 days before the departure date, when the trip lasts more than six (6) days.

b) 7 days before the departure date, when the trip lasts between four (4) and five (5) days.

c) 5 days before the departure date, when the trip lasts between two (2) and three (3) days.

d) 48 hours when the trip lasts one (1) day (Day trip).

Notes

* The program may be modified for its best implementation depending on conditions (weather conditions, delays, etc.).

* Prices in the event of increases in fuel, ferry tickets, accommodation costs, etc. will be adjusted accordingly with timely information.

* We kindly ask you to arrive at the boarding points on time.

* Boarding and assembly times must be adhered to for the proper operation of the program

* Food consumption is not allowed on the bus.

*In case of failure to arrive at the boarding points on time, the bus will depart without the office being held responsible, and the money will not be refunded.

Seat reservations on the bus are on a priority basis.

All travelers are informed by SMS or phone with detailed departure information 1 day before the trip.

Visits to the monasteries are only permitted in modest attire, i.e. long skirts for women and long pants for men. No shorts, bermudas, etc. allowed.
